HR Tech - Ecuador

Externa is an HR tech company based in Latam. They aim to position themselves as the system of choice for recruiters who actively seek talent (as opposed to passively receiving CVs in response to job advertisements).

Externa engaged ScaleMote due to its participation in Endavor Demo Day - of one of the largest incubators in Latam. However, they didn't have anything developed. Therefore, the goal was to have an MVP ready by the 1st week of August, which translates to approximately 3 months of development.

In under 3 months, ScaleMote built a fully functional MVP connecting with Externa’s candidate API – a platform that seamlessly connects talent hunters with top-quality profiles in the market. The tech stack used was React, Next.js, TypeScript for the frontend, and Nest.js + Typescript, hosted on AWS for the backend. Auth is done by leveraging AWS Cognito.

Externa is now prepared to present at the Demo Day with a fully functional MVP and hopes to secure capital.
